Although being an established shop our roots can be found in our trading name Dolls House Cottage Workshop.
The name came about simply because we were building dolls houses in a workshop at the back of my parent’s cottage. This all started back in 1992 and its fair to say that our product has evolved dramatically since then.

• Heirloom Collection

Our Heirloom Collection are our very best houses, based on our more established designs but further improved and now available as a kit (flat pack) or built to order.

• Quality & Consistency

We are not interested in being the largest company in Britain or Europe. Our emphasises is on maintaining quality and consistency with our products, and continuing to produce many hand made parts. We believe for these reasons, we can confidently say our houses are some of the best available.

• To lead not follow

Our slogan To lead not follow stands for originality, not to follow or imitate others. This applies to our name our designs and our production of each house.
The Trent View is the perfect example of this, it is completely different to any other dolls house and yet stands well, just as if it was a real house.
We have made different variations to this over the years and still reserve rights to all designs. However the Trent View of today is the one currently in production.
