Introduction to the houses below All wooden components, i.e. windows, stairs, turnings, mouldings and some of the doors are made by our selves in our workshop at Sawley Marina. Very few items are imported. The main body of these houses are individually cut from MDF. This is my preferred choice simply for its stability and smooth surface, which is great for painting on. Our houses are not sold painted and decorated as this is all part of the hobby. Paint is readily available in any hardware shop and wallpapers etc available from our own shop. Besides painting and decorating yourself, gives you the opportunity to make the house as individual as you are. Please read the detailed description for each house and feel free to contact me if you need any further information.

New Derwent Door This is our new door for the Derwent Manor. It is made by ourselves adding even more individuality to our design.

Derwent Manor The Derwent Manor is our most popular Georgian dolls house. It is three stories high with a box bay to the left front. It has six good sized rooms and an 8” wide by 15 ½” deep hallway. Wooden window and mouldings to the front and both sides. And wooden doors though out. The staircase in our Georgian houses are very different to our Victorian houses. They are more bold and dramatic looking, click Staircase button on the left to see more. In my view it is pointless having two different periods of houses with the same features as each other. This is why we put the extra effort into making different components to what is readily available else were. Overall size W 33.5" x D 20.5" x H 34" Kit Price £430.00 Designed and produced by Dolls House Cottage Workshop.

Derwent Heights
Our Derwent Heights is basically the Derwent Manor but a story taller. However it has a couple of extra details added one of which is the chimney stack. If you look at the picture closely you will see it has been recessed to look like the more ornate chimney stacks of years gone by. Of coarse it is now an eight room house. But with the large hallway and landings (8” wide by 15 ½” deep) you are in effect decorating and furnishing twelve rooms. The rooms on the left including the box bay are 17 ½” deep. Same as with our Derwent Manor it has wooden windows and mouldings to the front and both sides. And wooden doors though out.
Overall size W 33.5" x D 20.5" x H 44" Built Price £590.00

Dale Lodge
The Dale lodge is one of our oldest designs but we have recently redesigned it to make it more detailed like our other houses. It has a detailed half turn staircase leading from the hall up to the attic. Six large rooms and deep bay windows to the left front the bay windows make these rooms 19” deep and 12” wide. There are three dormer windows in the attic with detailed facia and finials to match the entrance porch. Wooden windows and mouldings to the front and both sides, detailed porch leading to the front door and wooden doors though out. This house features a detailed chimney stack.
Overall size W 33.5" x D 20.5" x H 34" Kit Price £390.00

Trent View
Our Trent View is a Victorian house four stories high with a central hallway 6 ¼” wide and 15 ½” deep. A nicely detailed staircase starts in this hallway and continues all the way up to the attic with landings on each floor. On the second landing not only is there a door into the right hand room but also a single French door out onto the roof terrace. All the rooms are of a substantial size approximately 12” wide by 15 ½” deep. The rooms with bay windows extend the floor depth to 19” deep. This design has a decorative entrance porch, wooden windows and mouldings to the front and left side, decorative balustrade across the front of the terrace and wooden doors through out.
Overall size W 32.5" x D 20.5" x H 45" Kit Price £480.00
Designed and produced by Dolls House Cottage Workshop.
